The statement number that is displayed with the "bomb" usually corresponds to 
the statement number within the listing generated from the last compile of the 
RPG IV program. Hope this helps. If not send another request.

Hi. I am just getting started using RPG IV.

When a RPG IV Program bombs, it tells me a statement number that does not
coorespond with my RPG source code line number. Why is the number
different? How can I set the RPG source code line number to match the error
code supplied by the op-sys?

Not being able to tell what line of code the error occurs in is very
frustrating. 

Any hints or tips?
