Yes the DSPATR(ND PR) (non display) will work but you STILL can't overlay
the field with another field as you can do on a record format.  This is done
by conditioning the FIELD not the display attribute.  If you do that in a
subfile you will get a field overlay error and it will not compile.

The best suggestion I saw was to build 2 subfiles and display whichever on
command key.  Or if you know at the time of the build which field you need
to display use a dummy field and move the appropriate information to that
dummy field.  All of the fields/ relative rec #, key values , etc. can be
stored in Hidden fields so you can get the original correct record when
needed.
