Deepak,

Define two Character strings: 1. A-Z (all in uppercase),say, UC 2. 
a-z(all in lower case), say, LC.
Then use 'XLATE' for the variable to change to Uppercase using above 
strings.
LC:UC     XLATEVARIABLE   RESULT        90


You can see the example in RPG/400 Reference Manual for Opcode 
XLATE(Translate).

Is there any way to print a character string in UPPER case letters only 
? 
 I am looking for any keyword in either printer files or some other way 
in 
program ?
