I have been working with RPG on and off for approx. 8 years.. One book I can swear by is "The Modern RPG Language" by Robert Cozzi. It's not necessarily a text book, but it is an excellent reference book.Specification Formats, and Operation Codes are explained in detail. Modular Programming and File Processing are also explained with plenty of examples. My copy that I am currently using is dog-eared and has notes and highlights all over... from previous readers. For approx. $ 65.00, it would be well worth checking out. I hope this helps. > -----Original Message----- > From: ajbaker@us.ibm.com [SMTP:ajbaker@us.ibm.com] > Sent: Friday, December 04, 1998 11:40 AM > To: rpg400-l@midrange.com > Subject: > > > > Hello, > I just landed a new job!
