You need to define a dummy file at the top of the program and then after
the QTEMP file is built issue and OVRDBF to it and then open the file.

This can all be excuted via RPG.

my pgm generates a temporary output file
in QTEMP once i execute the CALL 'QCMDEXC'
command in my rpg pgm.

i need to refer to this temp. output file
so that i can display some of its info
on a screen i've designed.

any suggestions or links i can learn
about this?
