OVRDBF FILE(lfile) TOFILE(pfile) OPNQRYF FILE(lfile) QRYSLT(recselect) KEYFLD((key1) (key2)) CALL PGM(rpg) DLTOVR FILE(lfile) CLOF FILE(lfile) This ment that I could leave the RPG prog pointing at a LF and use OVRDBF to point it to the PF i created. funny thing was i came up with that solution 2 mins after i sent the message :) oh well !
