Art, Be prepared for questions about ILE. I have also been through some recent interviews. This has come up in every interview. Also, skirt the issue about salary. Reply to this issue with a statement, "Salary is only a part of the complete package. Benefit package will have to be factored in on a decision." The reason for the salary comment, it seems that many companies are looking for the least expensive choice not necessarily the best candidate. Many companies are into drug testing before they can offer a job. Be prepared for this type of question but do not bring it up yourself. It just may raise a flag to the person doing the interview. Another question that could come up is about subfiles. If they don't bring it up and you have some knowledge in this, you bring the subject up. Another point that may be brought up is the Y2K issue. Many companies are in the middle of their projects for Y2K conversion. It might help if you have had some knowledge of this type of project. Good luck! It is a RPG programming project that looks really great. I have been working with the AS/400 as hardware support for the last couple of years and looking forward to working on a software project. What kind of questions do you think they will be asking at this interview? It is a junior level position so I'm not required to be an expert but I would like to make a good impression. What would you ask if you were interviewing someone for a RPG position?
