Deleting records from query

Hi

I am a trainee programmer, and have a small problem.
I have used runqry *n <physical file > to see the records in the physical
files.
Now, I want to delete the records from this file .
Could someone tell me how to go about it.

I thought I could delete them through the DFU but can't seem to find any
option once I use STRDFU.

Any suggestions.

Can one use a CL command to delete the records without going into STRSDU ?
