Well, first of all, you will need to delete the old logical files then
recompile the new physical file, then recompile to logical files that you
wish to keep.

Really, a logical file is just a template to update or read the physical
file, and even though you may have changed the original physical file, if
you tried inputting data using the logical, it would still show you the
same old fields, unless you update and recompile it too.
