While using the %ADDR built in function I receive an error RFN0341: Message . . . . : The parameter for %ADDR is not valid; %ADDR is ignored. Cause . . . . . : The parameter for built-in function %ADDR must be a field name. If the field name is an indexed array, an array index may also be specified. Recovery . . . : Correct the parameter for built-in function %ADDR. Compile again. I get this if the field is defined within a procedure interface. The manual says %ADDR can receive any data type. Are ?'s defined within a parameter interface not fields? I am just trying to receive a null terminated string. Maybe there is a better way? Thanks, David Morris. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the RPG/400 Discussion Mailing List!
