I do know of one person who was farming addresses for his real estate
sideline. But he had to be getting them from his inbox, or autoadded to
his contacts, etc. As the archives are masked.

I do the same, Rob. I have over 125 labels in my work email.

Though it doesn't help Jim . . .

I have google mail put a label on each of the lists. If it comes from
pctech then it's own label, midrange-l then it's own label and so on.
They
are not visible to the inbox.
Clear the inbox and go straight to the labels.

I get maybe 10 - 15 emails a day from various folks trying to sell me
something on this account. The ONLY thing I use this account for is
the
various lists David hosts. These folks are mining the email address
from archives etc, not from the list itself. So the question is how
do I set up Google Mail to only accept email from midrange.com.
Looking
a the filters did not present a obvious solution.

We also use the emClient for email.
