Hey all,

My brief time as a PHP on IBM i developer has ended at least for now.
However, it kind of inspired me to do this thing I don't have time for.

I use this weird russian file manager on windowss http://farmanager.com. It
happens to use function keys heavily. I also spent about a year having to
use 5250 emulators. I also went through a lot of laptops between a new one
at work, being laid off, buying one for consulting, and then getting a full
time job.

So the annoying thing about all these laptops is that by default the
Physical Function keys are set to to work the audio and screen brightness,
and you have to hit FN+whatever to get the good old fashioned PF1-PF12. One
of them lacked a FN lock and needed a BIOS update to reverse the FN key.
And one client of mine bought a few laptops and discovered they could not
send a F12 to client access with them.

So anyway, I'd like for there to be a website where you can search for
laptop models and find out about the Function key weirdness, and of course
enter your own notes. I lack the time to do anything about it. So at this
point I'm just hoping someone steals my idea.

Justin
