Re: Windows 10 upgrade error

Hi Norm,

It's a desktop, not a laptop, but no joy.

I did all the cleaning and defragging I could, got the same result in my
3rd attempt.

So I detailed everything I had done, along with the results, and sent it
off to our Managed Services Provider last week. Asked if they had anyone
with a similar experience. No answer yet except an acknowledgement they
would ask around.

It's on the back burner for now since I have an actual job to do.

David's suggestion was a good one as I already have Seatools for Windows.
Just never thought to use it.

errors of any kind were ultimately told to bypass the upgrade and do a
fresh re-format and then install the OS. Sorry to hear of another bad
upgrade experience. The fresh install is the only way to ensure you
aren't migrating stuff that may be complicating your upgrade. Good luck.
