You could also try burning incense to mask the smell.  Along those lines you could also start eating onions and limburger cheese.  For a semi-serious answer, would it be possible to put it out in your garage and remote desktop into it from another computer?

Subject: [PCTECH] Get smoke smell out of computer

My wife works in a small (2 people) office.  Yesterday an electrical fire
in the office below spread to their office from the office below.  The
office is unusable but she is bringing her office computer (an all-in-one)
to the house today to use it.

It reeks of smoke.  Anyone experienced in any tricks to get rid of the
smell?  I can google for solutions myself (like vinegar, etc), just curious
as to any actual experiences here.

Thanks.
