There used to be a time where it was more economical to just replace the
printer with a doorbuster. Not sure that's still the case, and it's
certainly not eco-friendly.

Also, depending on your needs, a lot of printers allow you to print in
"economy" mode.

HP has always been a safe choice for me, and this printer is just fine
