The salesrep did a standard Windows disk cleanup last night and now
everything works fine.

That's a new one on me.

All,

A salesrep laptop (Dell E6400) motherboard had issues so the local PC shop
found a refurbed Dell E6500 and installed the hard drive into it.

He had numerous wifi networks already set up that are still there. But he
can't get any of them to actually work. He even reenters the passcode.
Has tried in in many locations. Won't even work with the wifi hotspot in
his phone.

Could it be that since this is a new NIC with a different MAC address,
that he needs to 'forget' each wifi individually and add them back? I'm
guessing not because it worked for me here in the office with our wifi.
But I'm running out of things to try.

Ideas? Thanks.
