As others have said, any modern PC should be fine. I would agree with
David, that 8gb would be preferable (assuming 64bit windows).
For the monitor, I would /strongly/ recommend either 2 monitors or one
large one (>=19"). The additional real estate really comes in handy with
IDE's like RDp.
