Is there not an opportunity cost(benefit) to cut the cord from
Micro$oft?

IMO no ... Office 365 is the best hosted email out there. There is instead
a lost opportunity from the tremendous feature set of Office 365 not used
... ActiveSync and shared calendaring and shared resource scheduling to
start. And then there is SharePoint Online ...

We talk about the technical leadership of the i and how people and
companies need to embrace it and use the modern features. Exchange is the
i of email systems. Don't keep the company on the email equivalent of green
screen.

Seriously ... You are better off upgrading Office than trying to change
services. I have done both. It is painful, adds little value, and is
risky. Work the costs, including time.

I wonder what a conversion to Google Apps from MS Online Services
would be like ?

How do you handle large attachments ?

How would we got all the emails over to Google ?

I really like the looks of Google Apps.
