Patches come out the second Tuesday of the month with "out of cycle"
patches as required. There has been only a few that required out of
cycle patches. Are you sure you were completely up-to-date to begin
with? It takes up to 20 times or more (so it seems anyway) to get
every patch installed. You need to patch the patches.

Is there a log somewhere that lists the MS updates that get downloaded and
installed? One of my PCs is set to automatically download and install
updates. It seems that every day it has one update to install when I elect
to turn it off, which seems a little excessive - even for MS.
