I never tried to change the location of My Documents, but instead found it
much easier to download and install a free tool called Karen's Replicator.
I use this both at work and at home and have created backup programs to
copy everything in My Documents to my private share on our network.
I have found it easy to use, reliable and has it's own job scheduling
My use of it at work also allows me to promote it's use (at home) to those
who are 'back up challenged' with regards to their home pc's.
