I got one last Thursday, one of the initial shipments. So far I really like
the device, it would do for a short trip. But not sure I'd want to take it
on an extended trip. But for carrying around during the day it is great. It
helps that I have already "migrated" most of my stuff to the "cloud"; Google
Docs, Evernote, Gmail, etc. Just need to figure out how to get 5250
emulation in the browser :)

I initially had problems getting Verizon 3G to activate, but I talked with a
"Google Chrome Ninja" yesterday and got it working.

Looking forward to seeing what Google adds to it as the pilot program goes
on. One thing I am hoping for is VPN connection setup.

What sucks about it? The trackpad! Hopefully it is a software problem and it
will get fixed soon.

Guess this means I've been accepted into the beta program. Best part?
It
is FREE. Didnt even have to pay shipping & handling.

There is a link to the program in this article:

First
impressions?
12.1 inch netbook, 3.8 lbs, almost full size keyboard. Havent done much
more than turn it on and plug it in.
