Greetings,
The other day I tried to remote into my work pc from home and it did
not work. Both pc's are XP pro sp3. My vpn connection was working fine,
I just could not connect, no error message, nothing. I figured it was
something I was doing wrong.

The next day at work I tried to connect using another pc inside our
building and again nothing happened. The Remote Desktop Connect box is
displayed and the computer name (tried both name & ip address) I can press
the Connect button all day. I am able to ping the pc from inside and
outside of our network. I was told that all the services that are needed to
make this happen are running. I am not using the windows firewall.

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated. For what its worth the pc is about
2 months old.

Thank you
