Wouldn't it be better to just run a wire and hook up another wireless access
point?

Hi Folks,

Does anyone have recommendations on Wireless Repeaters ?

At our two biggest branches the buildings tend to be more of a rectangle
from front to back and the wiring closet (where the WAP is located) are
up front in the office areas (on the second story).

So we are attempting to rollout a better inventory management solution
and key people will be using notebooks to do that. But I am finding that
with all the distance, block walls and metal (especially racking and
upstairs warehouse floor supports) that I do not get anywhere NEAR to
the second half of either warehouse are.

So I'm thinking Wireless Repeaters are what I am needing so my
questions:

1) How far do these usually extend the signal?

2) What vendors do you recommend?

3) What are you paying for these?

Thanks !

Chuck
