Are the other PCs/printers on the network powered off? That would prevent the ip conflict issue.

Hi Folks,

We moved and had Comcast Cable Internet access installed. I installed
a Linksys Wireless-G Access Point with SES and got my notebook to
connect fine. Then I go to setup my wife's and it will connect but not
do anything.

Her configuration is identical to mine:

Operating Mode is Network (Infrastructure)
Security Settings is Personal Security and WPA2-Personal (AES-CCMP)

And I'm positive the encryption key is the same since it connects.

I did an ipconfig /all on her's and there is no DHCP or DNS showing.

So I got all the IP info and changed her wireless adapter to use a
hard coded IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. I also used
public DNS servers from OpenDNS servers.

I disconnected and reconnected and still NO ability to access a
website via www or IP address.

Any ideas ?

Thanks and hope everyone is having a great weekend !

Chuck
