Subject: [PCTECH] Excel problem

Can any of you Excel gurus help me with this.

I need to place a value in column B based on finding an X in column C
in the next row.

If the X is not present, then the value in column B should remain
unchanged.

I'm sure this must be possible but I'm darned if I can find it.

Also, I have only ever used cell-based formulas - other than VB script
or whatever, is there a way to simply write a formula that loops
through an entire worksheet?
