From what I read on TS Gateway I can't quite ascertain, does it need to beon a dedicated server? Can it be on the domain controller?

listWhat do you think of Remote Desktop access into our domain with no VPN?
This would mean the domain user/password is the security.
If using Portforwarding: Don't!
Use TS Gateway Services:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731264.aspx
Secure, can be combined with NAP to ensure client security and you can
also use a Smartcard for additional security.
