Subject: [PCTECH] Pasting pictures in MS WORD

Whenever I paste a picture in MS Word, all I see is blank box. If I right click on the box and select "Edit Picture" the picture shows up but it seems to be a separate file. How do I correct this? I'm using Word 2000 on an XP Pro machine.

Thanks in advance.
