Unable to copy CD disc image

I'm trying to copy a CD to a disc image that I can load into an image
catalog on our system/i. I'm trying to use Roxio Disc copier. My problem
is that I get a DVD transcode error and the message "the source folder
does not contain valid DVD-video files". The disc itself is a CD-R data
disc and my laptop has a DVD drive. I don't see any settings that
indicate I'm working with a video DVD. The disc summary says that it's a
multisession data disc. I've selected the destination as "disc image".
The "raw mode" option is greyed out. I swear that I've done this before
and it wasn't that big of a deal.
