Unicode is not important for someone living in the US or even for
someone living in Europe like me. I can get by just fine with US

However, we're moving to a globalized economy - Japanese, Chinese,
etc. don't translate easily to our alphabet.
So you're going to want your program names to be in Kanji? Or Arabic? I mean, it's a nice to have, but is it a requirement?
