Hi all,
I have had two portables now with the receptacle in the portable
go bad, either burn up or pin busted. Two different brands. The
connector does not seem durable at all - maybe the weakest link and
makes the portable worthless until fixed. I have never had one go bad
on a think pad and I travel a lot with the two I have had. It may be
the luck of the draw.
A very durable power connector would be a selling factor to me now.
Anyone else experience bad power connector? Do you buy a specific
brand to avoid broken parts that happen over and over?
