I working on an x series server with 4 - 36.4GB drives (32P0729) in a raid set. The fourth drive was a hot spare but is now active as one of the drives has gone defunct. The last time a drive went defunct was almost a year ago and they were able to buy a new drive with the assembly.

Now it seems to be hard to find this small of an IBM drive that isn't a refurb. I have found a Fujitsu 36.7GB 15K (MAX3036NC) bare drive. Can this drive be put in the assembly and work with the IBM drives? Is the 36.4GB vs the 36.7GB ignored by the controller or just a how you count them difference?

Thanks.
