We currently use Avocent, and previously Star Tech. Both are good units and
have provided years of service to us. However, every KVM switch I've ever
tried has at some point or another needed to be "bounced" because it's not
responding to keyboard input. It's not a frequent problem by any stretch,
but it does happen.

Subject: [PCTECH] KVM Recommendations

I'm going to purchase a new KVM switch and having experienced some of
the quirkiness KVMs are known for, I'd like to get some
recommendations. One I've had recommended is http://tiny.cc/OdErn. It
doesn't have a manual switch but the person recommending it said he's
not had any trouble with using the hot keys.

TIA,

BJ
