Adding a Linksys Wireless ROuter to Network

Good Morning,
We would like to add a Linksys WRT54GL wireless router to the
network at the far end of the plant. This is to add 2 work stations and
wireless capability to the Break Room/Meeting Room.
What I would like to know is: What are the best settings for the
router to be at the end of the chain and allow the users with laptops to
be able to connect to the Network while in the break room.
