Hello,

I have a problem setting up printers on a group of XP PCs.

Normally I have been able to log on to a PC as a Domain Administrator
(but not the Administrator), install network printers and then all users
(enrolled in W2k3 AD but not in the client PC) could see the printers.
However, with this new installation the users don't see any printers
unless they install them individually. That is the way the old NT
worked. If I copy ntuser.dat from a user that has setup the printers to
the default user profile any new users to log on to the PC or ones that
I have deleted their individual ntuser.dat they see the printers. I
should point out that the guy that setup the server didn't setup roaming
profile support but we are planning on setting up folder redirection
shortly.

Any W2K3 experts out there that can advise on how to setup the printers
once per PC and not per each user of that PC?

TIA

Roger Vicker, CCP
