Just starting with IIS - HELP!!

Hi y'all

I've been asked and tasked to take care of the site for the community band I play in - it's all in ASPs, so I installed (kicking and screaming) Internet Services on my Win2K machine. So I can play locally and test things before mucking up the real site.

I've run into a problem - basic one - it won't serve any ASPs - if I just put in http://localhost I get the dreaded "HTTP 500 - Internal server error"

So I'm a bit stuck - it does run HTM files just fine.
