Unfortunately, not a viable solution. I only get home on the weekends, and
he wants it before then, and besides, that's not how I like to spend my
weekend.
Even so, downloading SP2 and all of the subsequent updates, even on a cable
connection, would be an extremely long task. Even beyond the time to
download, his pc is probably slow enough that installing everything would
take several hours.
