I didn't mention this earlier, but the issue of searching
midrange.comarchives has been beaten to death before a few times, and
I bring up the
google news only because of the limitations of the ht://Dig
3.1.6<http://www.htdig.org/>search engine that
midrange.com uses.

That's why I usually use google to search midrange.com before I use the
ht//Dig... engine.  Usually, when I'm searching for something, it's for a
thread that I know was posted several months or even years ago.  As I
mentioned in my last response, I am somewhat surprised that all of the "old"
stuff in the archives might not necessarily be indexed by google.
