But, you may be able to skin this cat with OpenOffice.  According to
it's documentation you should be able to do what you want.  The website

Oh, wait, the openoffice link is yours.  That would have been a hoot to see
in the
microsoft link.

Thanks for confirming what I thought I knew, that MS had that /p switch in
earlier versions of Word.  Must be that innovation streak in them to take it
away.

I got my solution now.  But I will definitely keep your post for future
reference.
