What is this esteemed group's general impression of the technical support
offered by ZoneLabs?

I have been using ZA Internet Security Suite (ISS) for several months now.
With a recent, ZA-"pushed" online update, I started getting messages that
mantispm.exe was detected as exhibiting key-logging behaviors. What's weird
is that mantispm.exe is apparently part of the MailFrontier anti-spam piece
of ZA's ISS. So what's the deal with the key-logging behavior??? I
contacted ZA via their online tech support to ask that question but,
unfortunately, the support I'm getting is in the form of one-line
non-answers. Here's the "conversation" thus far (with the boilerplate crap
removed):

ZA (replying to my online inquiry): I understand that you are wondering
about the alert mantispm.exe. These need to be allowed for the junk mail
filter to work properly. It does monitor key strokes for security reasons.

Me: Would you be so kind to explain the reason why ZA reports that
mantispm.exe might be keylogging? This seems to be totally inconsistent
behavior with what I thought an anti-spam application ought to be doing,
which is strictly to monitor incoming mail. And, if it is part of ZA, why
is ZA warning me about this?

ZA: You are alerted because the file is a partner file that can be updated
with out updating the entire Zone Alarm program. It monitors keystrokes to
prevent a mass mailing that was not sent by you.

Me: So, if I decide to permanently DENY this program, will I negatively
impact functions other than the ability of ZA to detect mass mailing from my
PC? I am VERY adverse to ANY keystroke monitoring.

ZA: It may impact other features of the e-mail protection.

Me: Excuse me for being blunt, but that is a lazy answer. It doesn't tell
me squat. Please try again. I appreciate answers that educate me so that I
can make the proper decision based on my needs.

ZA: If denied it will not filter your mail correctly.

Me: Your answer still does not help me. If you are too unfamiliar with this
application to be able to answer intelligently, could I ask you to please
elevate this to the next level of ZA's support hierarchy?
In what way, specifically, will my mail not be filtered correctly? Will it
be filtered at all? Or will just the function that detects mass mailing
from my PC be disabled?
What would happen if I were to use a non-email-client application to send
email from my PC with this mantispm.exe enabled?

I sent off that last response a few minutes ago. I am so frustrated with
the lack of intelligent answers that I am seriously considering not
upgrading when the one-year license expires later this year.

Comments / opinions / suggestions appreciated!
