I'm dealing with a real PITA, trying to find a certain set of files on a
network drive. In WinXP's Search function, I am looking for files having
the pattern certty*.ps. Apparently, the search function automagically scans
through ZIP files (maybe other archive files too?) and this is a real
bottleneck. First, I know the files are not archived and, second, there are
a *ton* of zip files on this networked drive and, given the amount of time
Search tends to spend on most of them, they are quite large.

Is there a way to configure Search so that it does NOT scan archive files?

TIA,
Dan
