Rob, what took you so long to respond? ;-) I'm *all* for MS alternatives. That's why I use Firefox, Thunderbird, Open Office, Irfanview, etc. on any computer I have control over. But "popular"??? We *are* still talking about Lotus Notes, right? Popular by whose reckoning? Educate me if I'm way off, as you have far more experience with Lotus Notes than do I, but does anyone buy Lotus Notes just for the email "client"? Was Lotus Notes designed from the get-go to be an email client? My impression is that email is just a another Lotus Notes database application, as in "hey, we can create an email client appllication for Lotus Notes!" and, so, it comes off as something that works, but is not anywhere flexible or easy to use as a "real" email client. - Dan
