Lotus Notes: How do I config to highlight folders that have new emails?

I'm new to a shop that uses Lotus Notes 6.5.

When new messages arrive, I get the innocuous little dialog boxes that give
me the option to ignore ('OK') or to Open the Inbox.

But I'm used to the feature in Outlook and Thunderbird that shows that there
are new messages in any folder; they do it by showing the number of new
emails.  That would be nice for Notes, but I'd settle for the folder name to
be highlighted or colorized.

Can it be done?
