Hi Shannon - Yes - I know all that and I have done and un-done (is that a real word??) that several times. What is not working is that it shows that NoteTab should be the editor for the .txt type file, and it actually opens NoteTab when a .txt file is double clicked, but the file that was double clicked does not get loaded into NoteTab. Something is broken, and I want to fix it. I have uninstalled/reinstalled NoteTab, I have changed the .txt back to it's default (NotePad) and reassigned NoteTab to be the editor of choice, but it still does the same thing. I have changed, rebooted, stood on my head, held my breath :^) - nothing changes, except I turn a lovely shade of blue. NoteTab starts, but the file chosen does not load with the start of NoteTab. Any other ideas?
