Keyboard Problem




My oldest son's PC recently developed a problem with the keyboard.  It
doesn't seem to be recognized by Windows.  If you open something like
Notepad, it just clicks when you try to type.  The keyboard was a PS/2
style.  Last night was the first real chance I've had to look at it but
that wasn't much.  I tried swapping it out for both PS/2 and USB keyboards
but the results were the same.  I did notice that when booting up I was
able to get into the BIOS, move around in there, change values, etc. using
the keyboard but once in Windows it stopped working.  The mouse is fine.
Any ideas?

Windows is XP-Pro.
