Which is what you can do with that VMWare browser. What they've done is come out with a VMWare session 'player' that lets you run a VM on a machine without VMWare installed. The VM session is created on a machine that has VMWare installed. The browser 'appliance' is simply a locked down VM with Linux + FireFox (as I recall) and you run it in the player. If it gets trashed you just delete the file & run another. Very nice stuff.
