Now, a word of WARNING! MAKE CERTAIN that you uninstall other tab extensions before installing TMP, especially those that save your browser session and restore it when you restart FF. I had SessionSaver already installed from long ago when I installed TMP on Friday. This combination has the nasty effect of duplicating every tab EACH TIME you restart FF. If you're looking to thrash-test your CPU and/or your internet bandwidth, this is it, fellas! After I installed TMP on Friday (with about 15 tabs open), I exited FF ( v1.0.7) and restarted it to complete the TMP installation. Immediately, I had each of the 15 tabs doubled! As it was time to leave for the day, I didn't have time to look into it, so I shut down normally. This a.m., I powered back up, started up FF, and WHAM, I'm looking at about 60 tabs trying to load! I keep getting a message about "the script on this page is causing Mozilla to run slowly"; yeah, no sh*t, Sherlock! Couldn't kill the repeating error, so I had to kill FF from the task manager. Restarted FF in safe mode, uninstalled SessionSaver, exited FF safe more, restarted FF "regular", and everything's fine now. Only bad/sad side effect: I lost all the tabs I had before the TMP install on Friday. The author has a list of incompatible extensions on his support site; just follow the links from the TMP listing on the Firefox extensions site. Strangely enough, SessionSaver was not on this list. BTW, the 0.3 version looks very interesting, and am looking forward to trying it once it gets out of "alpha" - Dan On 10/28/05, Dan <dan27649@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > On 10/28/05, Mike Wills <koldark@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > > Try Tab Mix Plus... it is an excellent extension. > > > This is *very* nice!
