Rick, > would I just get a bunch of "detected new hardware" messages and > everything would be hunkydory? Yep. You still may need to install some drivers if Windows can't figure it out by itself. What I've done in the past is installed whatever original manufaturer drivers I had (video, sound, etc.), even if they were already working. Mike
