Ditto for using an activation

I heard the changes in SP2 were because of how many corporate keys were
floating around out there in the pirating channels from earlier versions of
XP. The corporate keys don't need activation, so you just install and run. I
think even the SP2 install itself would deactive certain keys "known" to
have been abused en masse.

You can understand why MS has to at least try some of this stuff -- Windows
and Office are the two big cash cows for them.
