Well, I wasn't gonna comment on Gateway service, since the last time I
tried was probably seven years ago.  Even though they built pretty
decent systems, I'll never buy from them again.

Things like putting me on hold for 90 minutes and then disconnecting
the call.  Guess they really don't want repeat business.  They won't
get mine.

BTW, I'm still using the P5-90 I bought (egads!) 11 years ago; this
thing has been so bastardized, the only things still original in it
are the case/PS, MB, and diskette drive.  I've replaced the CPU,
memory, hard drive (twice), CD-ROM, took out the modem, flashed the
BIOS twice, and added a NIC.  I guess you could say that Gateway
forced me to learn how to work inside this thing.  I'll probably just
build the next one by myself.
