Thanks Paul, I will check that out - although the cost of Nero may rule it
out.

I also found a product called "DVD Audio Extractor" (www.castudio.org) which
seems to work pretty well.  It has a free 30 day trial so I'm currently
evaluating it.  I did use it for a concert DVD yesterday and although a bit
slow (about 40 minutes) it did a nice job of extracting the audio stream and
taking it direct to MP3.
